One
of the strongest-built sprayers in the field today,
the 8505-3P Series comes equipped with a rugged
3 point carrier and parking stands. The 3 point
carrier has a transport/storage boom carrying
bracket incorporated into the carrier. Making
the unit completely self-contained. The boom
is available in 60', 80', 90' and 100'. It can
convert a tractor with saddle tanks to a self-propelled
sprayer in minutes. The boom is designed to handle
the higher speeds and more acres of today's growers.
The
center section is a 3" x 6" rectangular tubing,
the wings are a braced 5" x 5" tubing. A simple
and convenient hydraulic system allows the operator
to control all 7 cylinders on the boom with 1 tractor
remote. The 7 toggle switch control box, with self-centering
switches, make for finger tip control. Simply push
up on the appropriate toggle switch to raise the
cylinder and down to lower. Release the switch
and the cylinder stays at that position. A
reinforced hydraulic tower features a 52" boom
height adjustment. (The self-leveling boom is equipped
with shock absorbers and springs to provide the
extra cushion you need when operating on rough
terrain and at higher speeds.) Hydraulic wing lift
is also available for clearing fence lines and
other field obstacles.
